Frequently Asked Questions
Mortals ask questions out of fear. The eternal ask them out of hunger. Here are the answers, though they may not bring you comfort.
Does the Conversion hurt?
Yes. Pain is the vessel of rebirth. Your veins will burn, your body will convulse, and your screams will echo until silence claims you. Only then will eternity begin.
Can the Conversion be undone?
No. Once the Count’s blood enters your veins, your mortality is lost forever. You will never again walk in sunlight as a human.
The Conversion VS Bite Rituals?
The Conversion: A permanent transformation — the end of humanity and the birth of a vampire.
Bite Rituals: Temporary transfusions. For mortals, it preserves youth without full surrender. For vampires, it restores strength and heals wounds.
Why would a vampire need transfusions?
Even eternity can be wounded. Silver burns, garlic poisons, and holy water scars. Transfusions restore strength and calm the hunger before madness takes hold.
What are Coffins & Crypts for?
They are more than resting places. They are internal homes, sanctuaries where the eternal endure centuries of silence while the world above burns in sunlight. Without one, eternity is chaos.
Do you perform your rituals outside Fayetteville, Arkansas?
While our primary chambers reside in Fayetteville, the Count’s reach extends throughout Northwest Arkansas, including Rogers, Springdale, Bentonville, and beyond. Those willing to travel are always welcome — provided they arrive before dawn.
What are your hours of operation in Fayetteville?
We open our doors at dusk and close them before dawn. Daylight hours are reserved for rest, ritual preparation, and avoiding incineration.
Can I still eat human food after the Conversion?
Yes — but it will taste like ash. Only blood will satisfy your hunger.
Will I still see my reflection?
No. The mirror rejects what is no longer human.
How long does the Conversion take?
Three nights of ritual agony. Death, rebirth, and awakening. On the third night, you rise — no longer mortal, bound to hunger forever.
What if I refuse the ritual once it begins?
Refusal is meaningless. Once the process starts, blood and shadow have already claimed you.
What is the true price of your services?
Not gold. Not silver. The price is your humanity, your silence, your blood. Once paid, you belong to the night.
Can mortals from other states travel for a ritual?
Yes. Humans from across the country have sought the Count’s rites in Fayetteville. However, travel after dark is recommended — sunlight is not kind to those touched by our ceremonies.
Do you offer local delivery or setup for Coffins & Crypts?
Yes. Our craftsmen deliver and consecrate coffins and crypts on-site across Northwest Arkansas — from Bentonville to Fayetteville — ensuring the sanctuaries remain untouched by light.
